The Pius X Thunderbolts routed the visiting Elkhorn South Storm softball squad by a count of 11-3 in Saturday's non-league battle.

The Thunderbolts (5-2) will now prepare for their battle against Norris (Firth, NE). The Titans go into the non-league battle with a 3-2 record. In their last battle, Norris topped Crete (Crete, NE), 8-7, in a non-league battle.

The Storm now sport a 4-5 record. They play next when they travel to Millard North for a A District battle on Monday, August 30. Elkhorn South will meet a Mustangs squad coming off a 7-0 non-league loss to Marian (Omaha, NE). The Mustangs record now stands at 4-5.
