Texas High School Volleyball - Pilot Point tips Van Alstyne

The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Pilot Point Bearcats (Pilot Point, TX) and the visiting Van Alstyne Panthers (Van Alstyne, TX), saw Pilot Point's volleyball squad nip Van Alstyne by a tally of 2-1.

With the win, Pilot Point upgrades its record to 6-6 on the year. The Bearcats host Whitewright (Whitewright, TX) to play the Tigers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, August 31. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 7-10. Whitewright lost 2-0 in their recent non-league bout against Burkburnett (Burkburnett, TX)

The Panthers now own a 16-7 record. They play next when they travel to Bells for a non-league bout on Tuesday, August 31. Van Alstyne will play a Panthers squad coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to Pilot Point (Pilot Point, TX). The Panthers record now stands at 1-7.
