In Monday's non-league battle, the visiting Cherryville Ironmen volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Ashbrook Greenwave.

The Ironmen (3-4) will now prepare for their battle against East Gaston (Mt. Holly, NC). The Warriors come into the non-league battle with a 3-1 record. In their last battle, East Gaston achieved victory over Forestview (Gastonia, NC), 2-1, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Greenwave encounter the South Point Red Raiders (Belmont, NC) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, August 31. Ashbrook will attempt to advance on its 0-1 season record. The Red Raiders come into the battle with a 0-4 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to East Rutherford (Forest City, NC).
