With the win, North Stokes upgrades its record to 2-3 on the year. The Vikings host Elkin (Elkin, NC) to play the Buckin' Elks in a non-league bout on Tuesday, August 29. The Buckin' Elks go into the bout with a record of 1-5. Elkin lost 2-1 in their recent non-league bout against Forbush (East Bend, NC)

The Cougars now own a 1-2 record. They play next when they travel to Dan River for a non-league bout on Thursday, August 31. Patrick County will play a Wildcats squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Tunstall (Dry Fork, VA). The Wildcats record now stands at 2-1.
