The Depew Hornets softball team scored 13 runs and limited the host Meeker Bulldogs to 1 in the Hornets non-league triumph on Monday.
With the triumph, Depew moves its record to 10-6 on the year. The Hornets travel to Weleetka (Weleetka, OK) to clash with the Outlaws in a Class A battle on Tuesday, August 29. The Outlaws go into the battle with a record of 8-6. Weleetka won 11-9 in their recent league battle against Porter (Porter, OK)
