The Lee County Trojans softball team scored 5 runs and limited the visiting Schley County Wildcats to 4 in the Trojans non-league triumph on Monday.
With the triumph, Lee County moves its record to 6-3 on the year. The Trojans travel to Veterans (Kathleen, GA) to clash with the Warhawks in a 6A Region 1 game on Thursday, August 31. The Warhawks come into the game with a record of 4-4. Veterans lost 12-3 in their recent non-league game against Perry (Perry, GA)
In their next game, the Wildcats clash with the Brookstone Cougars (Columbus, GA) in a non-league game, on Wednesday, August 30. Schley County will attempt to move on its 6-4 season record. The Cougars come into the game with a 6-2 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Stratford Academy (Macon, GA).
