The A.L. Brown Wonders (Kannapolis, NC) volleyball overcame the host North Rowan Cavaliers (Spencer, NC), 3-0 in Monday's non-league outing.

With the win, A.L. Brown upgrades its record to 2-4 on the year. The Wonders host Hickory Ridge (Harrisburg, NC) to face the Ragin' Bulls in a Greater Metro 4A outing on Tuesday, August 29. The Ragin' Bulls go into the outing with a record of 3-5. Hickory Ridge won 3-0 in their recent non-league outing against East Mecklenburg (Charlotte, NC)

The Cavaliers now own a 0-2 record. They play next when they host South Davidson for a Central Carolina 1A/2A outing on Tuesday, August 29. North Rowan will face a Wildcats squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Eastern Randolph (Ramseur, NC). The Wildcats record now stands at 0-4.
