The Belle Plaine Plainsmen topped the visiting Highland Huskies volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Monday's non-league test.

The Plainsmen now have a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host B-G-M for a South Iowa Cedar test on Thursday, August 31. Belle Plaine will confront a Bears team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to GMG (Garwin, IA). The Bears record now stands at 2-1.

The Huskies (1-1) will now prepare for their test against Pekin (Packwood, IA). The Panthers enter the SEI - North test with a 0-4 record. In their last test, Pekin was knocked off by Keota (Keota, IA), 3-0, in a non-league test.
