The Caverna Colonels held off the host Russellville Panthers volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Monday's non-league test.
The Colonels now have a 1-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hart County for a District 18 test on Tuesday, August 29. Caverna will confront a Raiders team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Barren County (Glasgow, KY). The Raiders record now stands at 4-3.
The Panthers (0-7) will now prepare for their test against Franklin-Simpson (Franklin, KY). The Wildcats enter the District 13 test with a 4-9 record. In their last test, Franklin-Simpson held off Glasgow (Glasgow, KY), 2-1, in a non-league test.
