Kentucky High School Volleyball - Metcalfe County can't hold off Foundation Christian Academy

In Monday's non-league battle, the visiting Foundation Christian Academy Falcons volleyball team scored a tight 2-1 triumph over the Metcalfe County Hornets.

The Falcons (5-5) will now prepare for their battle against Allen County-Scottsville (Scottsville, KY). The Patriots come into the non-league battle with a 8-4 record. In their last battle, Allen County-Scottsville nudged Warren Central (Bowling Green, KY), 2-0, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Hornets encounter the Monroe County Falcons (Tompkinsville, KY) in a District 16 battle, on Tuesday, August 29. Metcalfe County will attempt to move on its 3-6 season record. The Falcons come into the battle with a 6-1 record after their 3-1 league loss to Russell County (Russell Springs, KY).
