North Carolina High School Volleyball - McDowell over Freedom

McDowell Titans (Marion, NC) supporters left the game in high spirits Monday as they observed their volleyball squad top the visiting Freedom Patriots (Morganton, NC), 3-1 in a non-league match.

Next up, the Titans clash with the Avery County Vikings (Newland, NC) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, August 29. McDowell will attempt to advance on its 5-0 season record. The Vikings come into the match with a 2-3 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to McDowell (Marion, NC).

With the loss, Freedom drops to 2-6 on the campaign. The Patriots travel to Mountain Heritage (Burnsville, NC) to clash with the Cougars in a non-league match on Thursday, August 31. The Cougars come into the match with a record of 3-2. Mountain Heritage lost 3-1 in their recent non-league match against Pisgah (Canton, NC)
