Kennedy Crusaders (Chicago, IL) fans went home thrilled Monday as they witnessed their volleyball team overcome the visiting Goode STEM Academy Knights (Chicago, IL), 2-0 in a non-league game.
The Crusaders now have a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Westinghouse for a non-league game on Wednesday, August 30. Kennedy will meet a Warriors team coming off a 2-0 league loss to Lindblom (Chicago, IL). The Warriors record now stands at 5-1.
The Knights (0-1) will now prepare for their game against Wells (Chicago, IL). The Raiders enter the non-league game with a 0-1 record. In their last game, Wells dropped by Kelvyn Park (Chicago, IL), 2-1, in a non-league game.
