Kentucky High School Volleyball - St. Mary can't hold off Hickman County

In Monday's non-league battle, the visiting Hickman County Falcons volleyball team scored a tight 3-2 triumph over the St. Mary Vikings.
The Falcons (5-5) will now prepare for their battle against Obion County (Troy, TN). The Rebels come into the non-league battle with a 3-6 record. In their last battle, Obion County was edged by Crockett County (Alamo, TN), 3-0, in a league battle.
Next, the Vikings clash with the Ballard Memorial Bombers (Barlow, KY) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, August 31. St. Mary will attempt to advance on its 1-6 season record. The Bombers come into the battle with a 2-5 record after their 3-1 league loss to Mayfield (Mayfield, KY).
