The Johnson County Longhorns volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the host Tri-Cities Christian Eagles to 0 in the Longhorns non-league victory on Monday.

The Longhorns now have a 4-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Elizabethton for a AA District 1 game on Tuesday, August 29. Johnson County will meet a Fighting Cyclones team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Dobyns-Bennett (Kingsport, TN). The Fighting Cyclones record now stands at 2-5.

The Eagles (2-1) will now prepare for their game against Heritage Home Scholars (Greeneville, TN). The Lady Eagles/Warriors enter the non-league game with a 4-2 record. In their last game, Heritage Home Scholars gained a win over Varsity Opponent (, ), 3-0, in a non-league game.
