The Red Devils (8-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Taylorsville (Taylorsville, MS). The Tartars come into the Class 1 Region 7 challenge with a 4-2 record. In their last challenge, Taylorsville defeated Hattiesburg (Hattiesburg, MS), 3-1, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Hornets encounter the Puckett Wolves (Puckett, MS) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, August 29. Lake will attempt to move on its 6-5 season record. The Wolves come into the challenge with a 2-7 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to West Lauderdale (Collinsville, MS).
