In Monday's non-league contest, the Varsity Opponent (, ) volleyball squad were winner over the visiting Martinsburg Christian Academy Warriors (Martinsburg, WV), by a margin of 3-1.

Next up, the battle the Shawnee Mission Christian Mustangs (Shawnee Mission, KS) in a non-league contest, on Monday, August 28. Varsity Opponent will attempt to upgrade on its 30-98 season record. The Mustangs go into the outing with a 2-0 record after their 3-2 league win over Heritage Christian (Topeka, KS).
