In Monday's league contest, the Salem Greyhounds (Salem, AR) volleyball squad were winner over the host Melbourne Bearkatz (Melbourne, AR), by a margin of 3-1.

Next up, the Greyhounds battle the Valley Springs Tigers (Valley Springs, AR) in a 3A Northwest contest, on Tuesday, August 29. Salem will attempt to better on its 4-4 season record. The Tigers go into the contest with a 7-0 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Omaha (Omaha, AR).

With the loss, Melbourne moves to 1-3 on the year. The Bearkatz host Rose Bud (Rose Bud, AR) to battle the Ramblers in a 3A Northwest contest on Thursday, August 31. The Ramblers go into the contest with a record of 2-2. Rose Bud won 3-1 in their recent league contest against Bergman (Bergman, AR)
