The Taft Tigers volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting Neah-Kah-Nie Pirates to 0 in the Tigers non-league victory on Monday.
The Tigers now have a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Toledo for a non-league challenge on Thursday, August 31. Taft will encounter a Boomers team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Myrtle Point (Myrtle Point, OR). The Boomers record now stands at 0-1.
Next, the Pirates encounter the Irrigon Knights (Irrigon, OR) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, September 2. Neah-Kah-Nie will attempt to move on its 2-6 season record. The Knights enter the challenge with a 2-1 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Umatilla (Umatilla, OR).
