The North Eugene Highlanders held off the visiting South Eugene Axe volleyball team by a score of 3-2 in Monday's non-league test.
The Highlanders now have a 3-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Eagle Point for a 5A Midwestern test on Thursday, August 31. North Eugene will confront a Eagles team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Phoenix (Phoenix, OR). The Eagles record now stands at 3-2.
The Axe (1-3) will now prepare for their test against Churchill (Eugene, OR). The Lancers enter the non-league test with a 0-0 record.
