In Monday's non-league battle, the host Rosewood Eagles volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the North Johnston Panthers.
The Eagles (4-1) will now prepare for their battle against North Lenoir (LaGrange, NC). The Hawks come into the non-league battle with a 4-0 record. In their last battle, North Lenoir defeated Greene Central (Snow Hill, NC), 3-0, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Panthers encounter the Southern Nash Firebirds (Bailey, NC) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, September 5. North Johnston will attempt to improve on its 2-3 season record. The Firebirds enter the test with a 6-0 record after their 3-0 league win over Nash Central (Rocky Mount, NC).
