The crowd at Monday's league bout between the Richmond Oilers (Richmond, CA) and the visiting Vallejo Red Hawks (Vallejo, CA), witnessed Richmond's volleyball team run past Vallejo by a score of 3-1.

The Oilers now have a 2-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Pinole Valley for a Tri-County test on Wednesday, August 30. Richmond will confront a Spartans team coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to Alhambra (Martinez, CA). The Spartans record now stands at 3-3.

The Red Hawks (0-5) will now prepare for their test against Swett (Crockett, CA). The Warriors enter the Tri-County test with a 1-1 record. In their last test, Swett was knocked off by Pinole Valley (Pinole, CA), 3-1, in a league test.
