With the triumph, Sunrise Mountain moves its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Miners host Boulder City (Boulder City, NV) to clash with the Eagles in a test on Monday, September 9. The Eagles come into the test with a record of 2-0.

The Cowboys now sport a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Pahrump Valley for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 3. Chaparral will clash with a Trojans team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Mojave (North Las Vegas, NV). The Trojans record now stands at 2-0.
