Fans at Wednesday's non-league contest between the Clarke County Eagles (Berryville, VA) and the host Skyline Hawks (Front Royal, VA), observed Clarke County's volleyball team hold off Skyline by a count of 2-1.

The Eagles (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Handley (Winchester, VA). The Judges enter the non-league contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, Handley got by Fauquier (Warrenton, VA), 2-0, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Hawks battle the Fauquier Falcons (Warrenton, VA) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, September 3. Skyline will attempt to move on its 0-1 season record. The Falcons enter the contest with a 0-2 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Handley (Winchester, VA).
