In Wednesday's non-league challenge, the visiting East Lincoln Mustangs volleyball team scored a close 2-1 triumph over the St. Stephens Indians.

The Mustangs (4-2) will now prepare for their challenge against North Iredell (Olin, NC). The Raiders come into the non-league challenge with a 4-0 record. In their last challenge, North Iredell edged South Rowan (China Grove, NC), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Indians meet the Statesville Greyhounds (Statesville, NC) in a challenge, on Tuesday, September 3. St. Stephens will attempt to upgrade on its 2-3 season record.
