The Wake Prep Academy Guardians (Wake Forest, NC) volleyball held off the visiting Falls Lake Firebirds (Creedmoor, NC), 2-1 in Wednesday's non-league bout.

The Guardians now possess a 3-3 record. They play next when they host Raleigh Charter for a non-league bout on Tuesday, September 3.

With the loss, Falls Lake drops to 5-3 on the campaign. The Firebirds travel to Chapel Hill (Chapel Hill, NC) to clash with the Tigers in a non-league bout on Thursday, August 29. The Tigers come into the bout with a record of 1-3. Chapel Hill lost 2-1 in their recent non-league bout against Green Level (Cary, NC)
