Alma Panthers (Alma, MI) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the host Swan Valley Vikings (Saginaw, MI), 3-1 in a league test.

With the triumph, Alma moves its record to 6-0 on the campaign. The Panthers host Elk Rapids (Elk Rapids, MI) to meet the Elks in a non-league test on Friday, August 30. The Elks come into the test with a record of 1-3.

The Vikings now sport a 4-1 record. They take the field next when they host Bullock Creek for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 3. Swan Valley will meet a Lancers team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Ogemaw Heights (West Branch, MI). The Lancers record now stands at 2-2.
