The Freedom Patriots smashed the host McDowell Titans soccer team by a tally of 5-1 in Wednesday's non-league game.
Next, the Patriots clash with the Hickory Red Tornadoes (Hickory, NC) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, September 3. Freedom will attempt to advance on its 2-4 season record. The Red Tornadoes come into the game with a 4-2 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Alexander Central (Taylorsville, NC).
The Titans (0-3) will now prepare for their game against Madison (Marshall, NC). The Patriots come into the non-league game with a 4-3 record. In their last game, Madison by Erwin (Asheville, NC), 1-0, in a non-league game.
