The Perry Panthers softball team scored 7 runs and held the host Lee County Trojans to 4 in the Panthers non-league win on Wednesday.

The Panthers now sport a 8-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host East Laurens for a non-league battle on Monday, September 2. Perry will confront a Falcons team coming off a 20-0 league win over Southwest (Macon, GA). The Falcons record now stands at 6-2.

With the loss, Lee County moves to 6-5 on the season. The Trojans host Northside (Warner Robins, GA) to battle the Eagles in a 5A Region 2 match on Thursday, August 29. The Eagles come into the match with a record of 2-11. Northside lost 19-6 in their recent league match against Lee County (Leesburg, GA)
