The North Oconee Titans softball team scored 14 runs and held the host Washington-Wilkes Tigers to 4 in the Titans non-league win on Wednesday.
The Titans now sport a 9-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cedar Shoals for a 4A Region 8 battle on Thursday, August 29. North Oconee will confront a Jaguars team coming off a 15-0 league loss to Walnut Grove (Walnut Grove, GA). The Jaguars record now stands at 1-9.
With the loss, Washington-Wilkes moves to 1-8 on the season. The Tigers travel to Oglethorpe County (Lexington, GA) to confront the Patriots in a non-league battle on Wednesday, September 4. The Patriots come into the battle with a record of 9-3. Oglethorpe County won 8-7 in their recent league battle against Providence Christian Academy (Lilburn, GA)
