North Carolina High School Volleyball - Maiden tips Alexander Central

August 28, 2024: Taylorsville, NC 28681

In Wednesday's non-league challenge, the visiting Maiden Blue Devils volleyball team scored a close 3-2 victory over the Alexander Central Cougars.

The Blue Devils (5-3) will now prepare for their challenge against West Lincoln (Lincolnton, NC). The Rebels enter the Catawba Valley Athletic 2A challenge with a 1-3 record. In their last challenge, West Lincoln was tipped by Bandys (Catawba, NC), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Cougars meet the Foard Tigers (Newton, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, August 29. Alexander Central will attempt to upgrade on its 3-4 season record. The Tigers enter the challenge with a 2-5 record after their 3-2 league loss to North Lincoln (Lincolnton, NC).
