Colorado High School Volleyball - Douglas County over Denver East

In Wednesday's non-league challenge, the host Douglas County Huskies volleyball team scored a 3-0 victory over the Denver East Angels.

The Huskies (2-1) will now prepare for their challenge against ThunderRidge (Highlands Ranch, CO). The Grizzlies enter the 5A Continental challenge with a 2-1 record.

Next, the Angels meet the Ponderosa Mustangs (Parker, CO) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, August 30. Denver East will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Mustangs enter the challenge with a 0-2 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Pueblo West (Pueblo West, CO).
