In Wednesday's league challenge, the host Foothill Mustangs volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Natomas Nighthawks.

The Mustangs (1-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Highlands (North Highlands, CA). The Scots come into the non-league challenge with a 1-1 record. In their last challenge, Highlands lost by Leroy Greene Academy (Sacramento, CA), 3-1, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Nighthawks play the Lindhurst Blazers (Olivehurst, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, September 3. Natomas will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record. The Blazers come into the challenge with a 1-3 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to Las Plumas (Oroville, CA).
