Fans at Wednesday's non-league contest between the North Boone Vikings (Poplar Grove, IL) and the visiting Freeport Pretzels (Freeport, IL), observed North Boone's volleyball team top Freeport by a count of 2-0.

The Vikings (1-0) will now prepare for their contest against Marengo (Marengo, IL). The Indians enter the non-league contest with a 1-1 record.
