The Newport Wildcats volleyball squad (Newport, KY), dropped 2-0 in Wednesday's league battle with the host Newport Central Catholic Thoroughbreds (Newport, KY)

With the win, Newport Central Catholic improves its record to 5-2 on the season. The Thoroughbreds host Holy Cross (Covington, KY) to encounter the Indians in a non-league battle on Wednesday, August 28. The Indians go into the battle with a record of 4-1.
