Spring Creek Gators (Seven Springs, NC) boosters left the game satisfied Wednesday as they saw their volleyball squad edge the host Union Spartans (Rose Hill, NC), 3-2 in a non-league test.

With the win, Spring Creek improves its record to 3-5 on the season. The Gators host American Leadership Academy-Johnston (Clayton, NC) to face the Patriots in a non-league test on Thursday, August 29. The Patriots go into the test with a record of 2-3. American Leadership Academy-Johnston won 3-0 in their recent non-league test against Ascend Leadership (Sanford, NC)

The Spartans now own a 0-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Clinton for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 3. Union will face a Dark Horses squad coming off a 3-1 non-league win over North Johnston (Kenly, NC). The Dark Horses record now stands at 6-1.
