The Chiefs now hold a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Sprayberry for a non-league test on Thursday, September 11. Sequoyah will meet a Yellow Jackets squad coming off a 30-12 non-league win over Woodstock (Woodstock, GA). The Yellow Jackets record now stands at 2-0.

With the defeat, Cherokee drops to 0-2 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Lassiter (Marietta, GA) to meet the Trojans in a non-league test on Thursday, September 4. The Trojans come into the test with a record of 1-0. Lassiter won 7-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Etowah (Woodstock, GA)
