West Field Longhorns (Taylor, UT) boosters exited the stadium pleased Thursday as they witnessed their soccer team get by the host Northridge Knights (Layton, UT), 1-0 in a league test.

With the triumph, West Field moves its record to 6-3 on the campaign. The Longhorns travel to Fremont (Plain City, UT) to play the Silverwolves in a 5A Region 5 outing on Tuesday, September 2. The Silverwolves go into the outing with a record of 2-6. Fremont lost 3-1 in their recent league outing against Bonneville (Washington Terrace, UT)

Next, the Knights clash with the Box Elder Bees (Brigham City, UT) in a 5A Region 5 game, on Tuesday, September 2. Northridge will attempt to better on its 3-6 season record. The Bees go into the bout with a 3-5 record after their 3-1 league loss to Clearfield (Clearfield, UT).
