The Orono Spartans soccer squad scored 3 points and held the visiting Roosevelt Teddies to 0 in the Spartans non-league victory on Thursday.
The Spartans now hold a 1-1 record. They play next when they host St. Louis Park for a non-league bout on Thursday, September 4.
With the loss, Roosevelt moves to 2-1 on the year. The Teddies host St. Anthony Village (Minneapolis, MN) to face the Huskies in a non-league game on Wednesday, September 3. The Huskies enter the game with a record of 3-0. St. Anthony Village won 3-0 in their recent non-league game against St. Croix Lutheran (West St. Paul, MN)
