The Hoke County Bucks soccer team (Raeford, NC), was tipped 3-2 in Thursday's non-league battle with the host Lumberton Pirates (Lumberton, NC)
The Pirates (1-1) will now prepare for their battle against Pine Forest (Fayetteville, NC). The Trojans enter the non-league battle with a 0-3 record. In their last battle, Pine Forest was edged by Holly Springs (Holly Springs, NC), 9-0, in a non-league battle.
In their next game, the Bucks meet the Southern Lee Cavaliers (Sanford, NC) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, September 2. Hoke County will attempt to move on its 2-1 season record. The Cavaliers come into the test with a 0-1 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Overhills (Spring Lake, NC).
