Delta Panthers (Delta, CO) supporters left the game pleased Thursday as they saw their softball squad nudge the host Montezuma-Cortez Panthers (Cortez, CO), 10-9 in a non-league game.
With the triumph, Delta improves its record to 1-0 on the year. The Panthers travel to Cedaredge (Cedaredge, CO) to play the Bruins in a non-league game on Wednesday, September 3. The Bruins enter the game with a record of 0-1. Cedaredge lost 15-5 in their recent non-league game against Durango (Durango, CO)
