The Widefield Gladiators softball squad (Colorado Springs, CO), was routed 19-9 in Thursday's non-league contest with the host Fountain-Fort Carson Trojans (Fountain, CO)

With the triumph, Fountain-Fort Carson improves its record to 1-0 on the year. The Trojans host Pueblo Centennial (Pueblo, CO) to face the Bulldogs in a non-league contest on Monday, September 8. The Bulldogs enter the contest with a record of 1-1.

The Gladiators now have a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Liberty for a non-league bout on Thursday, September 4.
