North Carolina High School Volleyball - Asheboro over Jordan-Matthews

Fans at Thursday's non-league contest between the Asheboro Blue Comets (Asheboro, NC) and the host Jordan-Matthews Jets (Siler City, NC), observed Asheboro's volleyball team top Jordan-Matthews by a count of 2-0.

With the win, Asheboro improves its record to 6-1 on the season. The Blue Comets host Providence Grove (Franklinville, NC) to encounter the Patriots in a non-league battle on Tuesday, September 2. The Patriots go into the battle with a record of 4-2. Providence Grove lost 2-1 in their recent non-league battle against Chatham Charter (Siler City, NC)

The Jets now own a 1-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Union Pines for a non-league contest on Wednesday, September 3.
