Fans at Thursday's non-league contest between the Auburn Eagles (Riner, VA) and the visiting Eastern Montgomery Mustangs (Elliston, VA), observed Auburn's volleyball team top Eastern Montgomery by a count of 2-0.

The Eagles (2-0) will now prepare for their battle against Glenvar (Salem, VA). The Highlanders go into the non-league battle with a 1-1 record. In their last battle, Glenvar achieved victory over William Byrd (Vinton, VA), 2-0, in a non-league battle.

The Mustangs now own a 1-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bland County for a non-league battle on Tuesday, September 2.
