The Croatan Cougars were victorious over the visiting Havelock Rams volleyball team by a margin of 2-0 in Thursday's non-league outing.

The Cougars now possess a 7-2 record. They play next when they host Northside - Jacksonville for a non-league outing on Tuesday, September 2. Croatan will play a Monarchs team coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Richlands (Richlands, NC). The Monarchs record now stands at 5-3.

With the loss, Havelock drops to 3-4 on the campaign. The Rams host West Carteret (Morehead City, NC) to play the Patriots in a non-league game on Tuesday, September 2. The Patriots go into the game with a record of 5-1. West Carteret lost 2-1 in their recent non-league game against Swansboro (Swansboro, NC)
