Milton Panthers (Milton, FL) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they observed their volleyball team overcome the host Escambia Gators (Pensacola, FL), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Panthers (1-0) will now prepare for their test against Gulf Breeze (Gulf Breeze, FL). The Dolphins go into the non-league test with a 5-0 record. In their last test, Gulf Breeze achieved victory over Chiles (Tallahassee, FL), 2-1, in a non-league test.

The Gators now own a 1-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Central for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 2.
