Glasgow Scotties (Glasgow, KY) backers exited the stadium pleased Thursday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the host Allen County-Scottsville Patriots (Scottsville, KY), 8-0 in a league test.

With the triumph, Glasgow advances its record to 4-4 on the campaign. The Scotties travel to Greenwood (Bowling Green, KY) to clash with the Gators in a non-league test on Saturday, August 30. The Gators come into the test with a record of 4-3. Greenwood won 5-0 in their recent non-league test against Russellville (Russellville, KY)

The Patriots now have a 1-5 record. They take the field next when they host Warren East for a District 15 test on Tuesday, September 2. Allen County-Scottsville will play a Raiders squad coming off a 11-2 non-league win over Edmonson County (Brownsville, KY). The Raiders record now stands at 2-2.
