The Shaler Area Titans nipped the host Armstrong River Hawks soccer team by a tally of 2-1 in Thursday's league game.
Next, the Titans face the Knoch Knights (Saxonburg, PA) in a WPIAL AAA 1 game, on Thursday, September 4. Shaler Area will attempt to advance on its 2-2 season record.
The River Hawks (2-1) will now prepare for their game against Freeport (Freeport, PA). The Yellowjackets enter the non-league game with a 1-1 record.
