University Liggett Knights (Grosse Pointe Woods, MI) boosters exited the stadium pleased Thursday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the visiting Cabrini Monarchs (Allen Park, MI), 4-1 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, University Liggett moves its record to 4-1 on the campaign. The Knights host Grosse Pointe South (Grosse Pointe, MI) to clash with the Blue Devils in a non-league test on Friday, September 5. The Blue Devils come into the test with a record of 3-1.

The Monarchs now sport a 1-4 record. They play next when they host Detroit Cristo Rey for a non-league outing on Thursday, September 4. Cabrini will play a WOLVES squad coming off a 8-0 non-league win over Lumen Christi Catholic (Jackson, MI). The WOLVES record now stands at 2-1.
