In Thursday's non-league outing, the visiting Greenhills Gryphons soccer squad scored a tight 3-0 win over the Central Catholic Fighting Irish.

The Gryphons (2-1) will now prepare for their outing against Cranbrook Kingswood (Bloomfield Hills, MI). The Cranes enter the non-league outing with a 3-0 record. In their last outing, Cranbrook Kingswood tipped Lutheran North (Macomb, MI), 7-1, in a league outing.

Next up, the Fighting Irish confront the Rossford Bulldogs (Rossford, OH) in a non-league outing, on Saturday, August 30. Central Catholic will attempt to improve on its 0-4 season record. The Bulldogs enter the outing with a 0-5 record after their 2-1 league loss to Otsego (Tontogany, OH).
