In Thursday's non-league contest, the Davie County War Eagles (Mocksville, NC) soccer team edged the host East Davidson Golden Eagles (Thomasville, NC), by a count of 4-3.
Coming up next, the War Eagles encounter the North Davidson Black Knights (Lexington, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, September 2. Davie County will attempt to better on its 2-1 season record. The Black Knights go into the challenge with a 2-3 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to North Iredell (Olin, NC).
